Southwest Scaffolding Confirms Silver Level In The Masonry Alliance Program

Words: Dan Kamys

The MCAA is happy to announce current Strategic Partner Southwest Scaffolding will move to the Silver tier of the Masonry Alliance Program. Southwest Scaffolding is now one of 70 companies to receive exclusive access to the $33 billion masonry industry.

Starting in January, the Masonry Alliance Program takes the place of current MCAA Strategic and Corporate Partnerships. This new program, aimed at suppliers who want to be active and involved, will be the only way for companies to access mason contractors through events, sponsoring, advertising and more.  Once the Program’s Cornerstone, Platinum, Gold, and Silver tiers are occupied, there will not be any additional availability.

“Southwest Scaffolding has been a longtime Strategic Partner, and we are thrilled to welcome them back into MASONRY Magazine with this new level of involvement,” said Todd Fredrick, MCAA Director of Development.

Currently, MCAA Strategic and Corporate Partners have early access to details and verbal commitments until June 15th. For the second half of June, MCAA Supplier Members and MASONRY Magazine advertisers receive access to secure their spot. In July, any industry supplier may verbally reserve a place in the Masonry Alliance Program. A dedicated website with full information will be unveiled around June 15th.

About Southwest Scaffolding: We began as a commercial masonry contractor in the early 1990s and over the course of the next 20 years, completed many multi-million dollar projects. During the Great Recession, we shifted our focus from construction to selling and renting scaffolding. Unlike most of our competitors, we’ve used the scaffolding we sell to you, and like you, we’ve had to rely on it to make a living. We know how it performs in the field, how it holds up over time and how it can affect your bottom line. We understand as well as anyone the labor costs associated with erecting scaffolding and how setting up the right kind of scaffolding with the right strategic approach can make your project far more profitable. Like you, we are experts in construction, OSHA regulations and in scaffolding. Because of this, we only sell products we would use ourselves. We have spent a great amount of effort finding the highest quality products at the most reasonable prices and we want to pass this benefit on to you and give you an advantage over the competition. We can work with you on your projects to make sure you are buying what you and your crews need (and only what you need) to best complete a project, stay OSHA compliant, and keep your labor costs as low as possible. Why buy scaffolding from someone who knows less about how to use it than you do?

About Mason Contractors Association of America: The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is the national trade association representing mason contractors in the $33 billion industry. The MCAA is committed to preserving and promoting the trade by providing continuing education, advocating fair codes and standards, fostering a safe work environment, recruiting future manpower and marketing the benefits of masonry materials.
