The American Concrete Institute announces the publication of Formwork for Concrete, a comprehensive 352-page illustrated manual intended as a guide for achieving quality, safety, and economy in planning, building, and using formwork for concrete construction. Two years in preparation, the "Formwork Manual" was prepared under the direction of ACI Committee 347 (formerly Committee 622), Formwork for Concrete, to serve as a working aid for form designers, contractors, engineers and architects.
The manual is of 8½ x 11 inch format, in clothbound hard covers, and contains 17 chapters and more than 500 photographs and line drawings. It is priced at $17.50; $9.50 to ACI members.
