2010 MC&MCA Excellence Contest

Words: Hector KarrmasonryTo encourage and recognize excellence in masonry design and construction and the use of poured in place concrete as a versatile and durable building product, the Minnesota Concrete & Masonry Contractors Association announces the 28th Annual Excellence Awards Contest for projects completed before September 1, 2009.

Through this program, the MC&MCA seeks to honor works of distinction by its members and to bring public attention to outstanding buildings and projects constructed of masonry and concrete materials. Entries will be judged on site on the basis of both workmanship and architectural design.

This year all projects must be submitted online at www.mcmca.com with photographs. Any jobs completed with the last five years can be entered. Submittal deadline is August 31.
