Hohmann & Barnard, Inc., the largest manufacturer of reinforcement, anchoring systems and accessories for masonry and stone, announced that it has acquired Sandell Industries, Inc, based in Schenectady, New York. Sandell manufactures state of the art flashings, drainage products, and building envelope accessories to the residential and commercial construction industry.

Since its inception over 50 years ago, the company has earned a reputation as a product innovator and a leader in superior customer support across the industry. Sandell continues to grow its product lines by consistently creating new products and services for the commercial and residential construction industries, including plastics, transportation, construction solutions and Diedrich Technologies, which is the nation’s leader in high-­‐performance detergent products for building restoration and maintenance.
