VERMICULITE HOPP
This easily built hopper assists in placing vermiculite masonry fill in masonry walls. Observations in the field and in demonstrations indicate that a 4 cubic foot bag of vermiculite masonry fill can be placed in about twenty seconds in a cavity wall. Adjustments adaptable to the hopper, permit it to be used on virtually any type of masonry wall cavity wall, a concrete masonry wall, or a combination of both. The hopper utilizes rollers to facilitate moving along the top of the masonry wall, and a bag slitter which opens the bags as it is dropped into the hopper, permitting the vermiculite masonry fill to immediately descend into the wall.
