From the Goof Department
We mentioned just about everything but the kitchen sink in last month's cover picture caption. Everything, that is, except the basic fact that the masonry unit used in the Citizens & Southern National Bank (see cut), Greenville, S. C., was NATCO Speckled Gray Ceramic Glazed Face Brick, Shade 16-3. To those who noticed (as we did later-after the press run, naturally), your MASONRY editor's red face wasn't from the October sun. MCAA Receives Master Insurance Certificate for Members' Coverage
Chicago, III. Turned over to the MCAA recently was a master certificate for members free $1000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance. The master roster containing the names of all those receiving the free $1000 coverage was submitted to MCAA's George Miller by Jack. Johnstone, Executive Vice President of the Joseph K. Dennis Insurance Company of Chicago. For covered members, the insurance was renewed on October 1. Additional protection, at a low $1.20 per $1,000 coverage, has attracted many members, who have made this insurance available to other members of their firm.
The MCAA Board has taken note of the good response to the Association's insurance program, with the result that they will be looking at other voluntary programs of this type which may be made available to members.
