Big Milwaukee Chapter picnic is scheduled for Saturday, June 23rd, at Heidelberg Park. Arthur Kretz has been promoted to Rental Manager of Newark Ladder Co., N. J., manufacturer of ladders, shoring and contractors' equipment. Pattern and Texture along with Man and Masonry has just been slated for top awards in the 1962 Products Literature Competition sponsored by the Producers' Council and the American Institute of Architects. Latest NOMA Picture features Split Block.

Congratulations to William F. Nelson, MCAA Past President, on receiving his twenty-five year pin on May 1st from Bricklayers, Mason & Plasterers International Vice President William R. Conners. Attending the ceremony in Washington, D. C. was I. U. President Emeritus, Harry C. Bates. Larsen Products Corp., Lelson, Md., celebrated their tenth anniversary with an open house on May 6th. At the April 15th meeting of the Milwaukee Chapter Jim Cline of Union Carbide Co. gave an interesting presentation on the use of gases in the Masonry Industry. The North Central States Apprenticeship Conference will be held in Dallas, Texas, July 26-28. Jake Ribar has been elected First Vice President of the Allied Construction Employers Association of Milwaukee. In addition he will serve as a director of the association.


MOVING TIME

Pittsburgh Corning Corporation's Sales Office has moved into new headquarters at one of the finer office areas in the midwest, The Oak Brook Executive Center just west of Chicago at the York and Oak Brook road interchange.

Stone & Smith & Ross, Inc. on May 1st will move into new quarters at 33 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

Riekerd & Cleary, Inc. have moved from their long established Merchandise Mart Building address to 520 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago 11, III.

Acme Glass Company has moved Chicago Daylighting Products to 1780 Maple Street, Northfield, Illinois.

National Roofing Contractors Association has moved to 300 West Washington Street, Chicago 6, Illinois.
