Bayside Federal Savings & Loan Association, Glen Oaks; Bay Terrace Jewish Center, Bayside; and New York Telephone Co. Communications Center, International Airport all were presented bronze plaques. For a picture of the Communications Center see page 12 of this issue. Bill Nelson was awarded a certificate for 19 years of perfect attendance by the Washington, D. C. Kiwanis Club at this group's Mar. 7 meeting. At the recent dinner dance of the St. Louis Chapter members of that group honored the Fred Daues' firm for its many years of unparalleled service to the MCA of St. Louis. The Associated Masonry Contractors Association of Metropolitan Chicago have re-elected Harold W. Peterson as President of the Chicago Chapter for the coming year. National Concrete Masonry Association has named Lincoln B. Frazier, President, Campbell Supply Co., Marquette, Mich. Mr. Frazier accepted the President's gavel from 1962 President Paul M. Thomas at the NCMA's recent Annual Convention in Dallas. George J. Pecaro, President of the Flintkote Co. has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Portland Cement Association. The announcement was made by Charles B. Baker, Universal Atlas Cement Div., Chairman of PCA's Board. The American Institute of Architects is now preparing the 3rd edition of the unique AIA Building Products Register.
