HONOR HARRY PLUMMER

Lester L. Bosch, president of the Consulting Engineers Council, presents to Harry C. Plummer, director of the Engineering and Technology Department of the Structural Clay Products Institute, a citation of "Special Commendation" for Brick and Tile Engineering. A jury of six prominent consulting engineers awarded the book a special commendation for exceptional merit.


MEMPHIS AWARD WINNERS

For its job on St. George's Episcopal Church, A. W. Madewell Co. holds top honors for outstanding masonry work done in Memphis in the past year.

The job was cited for excellence in its exterior brick work and its exposed block work inside.

Other awards made at a fifth annual ceremony of the Mason Contractors Association of Memphis at Colonial Country Club April 18:
