(continued from page 11) the outstanding contractor and outstanding individual as chosen by the Detroit Chapter membership for diligence and meritorious contributions to the Association and the Masonry Industry.
Recipients of the 1964 awards were: Outstanding Contractor: Mr. Dwight Lewis, Rohn Fireproofing Company, Inc. Mr. Lewis is Vice-President of the Detroit Chapter. Outstanding Individual: Mr. Jack Powell, Peerless Cement Company, Inc., Detroit, Michigan.
Awards were also presented to the past presidents of the Detroit Chapter by Mr. Ebeling. Receiving these awards were Mr. James R. Snyder, now Secretary of the Chapter and Mr. Don Bidwell, Director of the Chapter and Secretary of the National Association.
The Success of this years outing is due to the tremendous effort put forth by the Annual Outing Committee under the direction of the outing Co-Chairmen Mr. John Knecht of Aetna Portland Cement Company and Mr. Donald Evans of the Sona Cement Products Company.
