On Friday morning, in cooperation with Merix Chemical Corporation, Chicago, MCAA conducted a National Golf Driving Experiment. Pictured at the first tee of the Bellaire Course are spectators viewing the various drives.

Shanty Creek Lodge offered a variety of activities; however, one that proved to be most entertaining was the shuffle board course. Pictured are Mrs. DeWalle and Mrs. Dietrich engaged in a lively game with the audience enjoying every bit of it.

Being situated in the northern part of Michigan, Shanty Creek Lodge made it necessary for many to fly in by chartered plane. Pictured at the Bellaire airport before departing for Detroit, are Don Bidwell, Regional Vice President, who is seeing the group off, along with Robert Rawlins, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Coco and Fred Daves.
