People & Events

Vying for honors for the largest delegation at the Convention were the Detroit and Milwaukee Chapters with Dayton, Ohio, a close third. Our special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. William Picco. Bill was Convention Chairmen and did an outstanding job in arranging and carrying thru with the details. Highlight of this Convention was the stirring address made by Senator Dirksen. Our hats are off to the U.S. Marine Color Guard. When they presented the colors, they commanded the rapt attention of everyone in the hall.
