Milwaukee All-Weather Conference
The Mason Contractors Association of Milwaukee in cooperation with the ACEA Industry Advancement Program conducted an All-Weather Conference on January 28, with approximately 100 industry representatives in attendance.
The meeting featured presentations by William E. Dickinson, President, Calcium Chloride Institute, on "Admixtures for All-Weather Construction"; "All-Weather Protection of Scaffolding" by Claude Robinson; and "Space Heating" by Gene Vocker.
"Protection of Combustion Engines" was presented by Gordon Koegel while "Air Structures" was discussed by W. W. Bird.
During the afternoon session Earl Layton spoke on the role of "The All-Weather Contractor" with Bill Roark discussing various aspects related to All-Weather Construction. "Cold and Hot Weather Aspects of Mortar was presented by Robert Shuldes.
