Tennessee Holds 14th Annual Convention

GATLINBURG, TENN. The 14th Annual Convention of the Tennessee Chapters of the MCAA was held here on August 4th through 6th. Chairmaned by Garland Sherman, the convention heard discussions on a wide range of subject matters.

William L. Ray, Employers Insurance of Wausau, presented "Insurance Needs of the Mason Contractor", while W. O. Crabb discussed with the delegates "Safety Laws" of Tennessee. Joe Shadden, Vice President, Hulsey Concrete Products, presented a movie entitled "Art & Industry of Precast Concrete." George Miller, MCAA Executive Vice President, gave a presentation on the plans and programs of the Association.

At the Annual Meeting of the Chapters, Allen Young, Memphis, was elected State Chairman-Elect, while Donald Cook was selected State Secretary. During the meeting, it was agreed that a possible tri-state meeting could be scheduled during 1967 and a committee was appointed to study its feasibility and to select possible sites.
