SURE KLEAN

Safest, Easiest Way Yet
To Remove Excess Mortar
from Light Colored Masonry

SURE KLEAN No. 600 used on the
new First Baptist Church, Fort
Worth, Texas. Architects, Easter
wood & Easterwood; general con
tractors, Cain-Brogdon & Cain, Inc.
masonry contractor, Donald G. Ream.

SURE KLEAN No. 600 Detergent
is the one cleaner specially for-
mulated to remove excess mor-
tar from light colored masonry-
safely! Won't stain, streak, burn
or bleach and never yellows or
discolors. Recommended for buff
brick, light colored stone, non-
metallic glazed tile, mosaic or
exposed aggregate panels.

SURE KLEAN No. 600 works
faster, is safer and easier to use.
Just brush on, let stand briefly,
reapply and rinse with fresh
water. Special deep wetting action
really soaks in, under and through
mortar deposits... works faster
to cut man-hour costs. And it's
concentrated. Strength of clean-
ing solution can be varied to fit
the specific job...with big sav
ings, too, on shipping, handling
and storing charges.

Whatever your cleaning job,
there's a masonry cleaner spe
cially formulated by The Process
Solvent Company to do it faster,
safer, easier and at less cost.
Custom cleaners prepared on re-
quest. Send for detailed litera-
ture and free test samples, now!

Up, Up, Up & Up

The first mobile concreting pump with an
overhead delivery boom has been introduced
by Thomsen Equipment of Gardena, Calif.
Named the Model 640, this truck-mounted,
hydraulic-powered piston pump has a re
mote controlled boom which can be ex
tended up to 70 feet vertically or horizon-
tally. Concrete is pumped directly from tran
sit mixer through boom to job, bypassing
all obstructions. The boom accommodates.
either 3-inch or 4-inch conveying system
with 10-ft. extension sections. According to
Thomsen, field tests show the Model 640's
boom makes possible the precise placement
of concrete without danger of the hose or
pipe lines damaging forms of steel. Con-
crete may be placed without hindering other
work, and can be delivered seven stories-
high without equipment being attached to
the structure. Thomsen states that the pump
is mounted on 20,000 G.V.W. vehicle and
delivers concrete mixes containing up to
1-1/2-inch aggregate for pumping of a rate
of up to 40 cv. yds. per hour.
