68 Meeting
For the '68 meeting Convention Chairman O. L. Jollay has arranged an action-packed, hard hitting agenda, which will be of interest to everyone in the Masonry Industry.
Welcoming members to Georgia and the South will be Governor Maddox of Georgia, along with other dignitaries from the state and city.
In the business field members will hear a detailed discussion on the ever-present jurisdictional dispute and how they can best protect their interest and that of the Industry. Legal counsel Peer Pedersen and Paul Rosensteel will team up and present "NLRB vs Joint Board."
Joining MCAA's 18th Annual Meeting will be Thomas F. Murphy, President, Bricklayers, Masons & Plasterers International Union of America, and Joseph Moreschi, General President, and W. Vernie Reed, Vice President, of the Laborers' International Union of North America, who will review the status of current programs and bring members up-to-date on industry-labor relations.
MCAA's All-Weather Program, as well as the other cooperative undertakings will be covered in another session which will highlight the need for greater emphasis in the field of practical research. Leaders of other allied organizations will be featured in a discussion bringing members abreast of developments in the Industry.
This, combined with the largest MCAA Educational Trade Show ever held will make Atlanta the place to be in February 17-20. The leaders of the Masonry Industry will be gathered together to work out plans for the betterment of the entire Masonry Industry.
