James Electronics' President Edward Kennedy reviewed the "Non-destructive Ultra-Sonic Methods of Testing Masonry Walls." Carl Specklemier, President, Intercon, demonstrated the versatility of "Monowall" and with a section of wall gave the members a complete presentation on the steps in constructing walls with concrete masonry units and Threadline brand adhesive mortar. This was followed by the "Baker's Dozen" of new ideas. Concrete Masonry Company introduced the "XOC" block, the unit with a handle. Texas Refinery Co. showed the members a new fluid to increase the use of tires under various types of conditions. SCPI reviewed the Bearing Wall program while Service Canvas Co. demonstrated their new reinforced protection for winter construction. Natco released their "Tex 4512" a new line of load-bearing modular structural clay units. SCAN showed members the new system using micro-film that (Continued on page 11)
