A change in executive management was voted recently by the directors of Pittsburgh Corning Corp. Russell Brittingham, President since 1957, was elected Chairman of the Board. James H. Bierer, formerly a Corning Glass Works Vice President, was elected President and Chief Executive Officer.

Leslie A. Barron, Managing Director of the Vermiculite Institute, announces the appointment of Thomas P. Feit as Fire Protection Engineer. Feit will be involved in the Institute's comprehensive fire-testing program, in liaison work with building code groups, and in ASTM committee relationships.

Larry LeSieur has been named Marketing Manager of Skil Corporation's Construction Equipment Div. He will be responsible for all sales and product promotion efforts.

At the annual outing of the Detroit Mason Contractors Association held at Bay Pointe Golf Club, the contractors once again beat the suppliers at baseball by the overwhelming score of 18 to 8. The Gierlaszynski brothers faired well in both raffle drawings with Chester winning the lion's share and walking off with the $200 grand prize... Bruce Johnston, General Sales Manager of the Port Costa Clay Products Co. recently announced the promotion of Andy Clovich to Brick Sales Manager. Clovich has held the position of Architectural Representative with Port Costa, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Homestake Mining Co... James H.
