these are
the bad guys

In Other Words
(Continued from page 14) excess liability policies will not fill the gap where you do not carry underlying completed operations coverage. In short, I would do without something else before waiving this protection against what could well be a major source of loss.
Question: Aren't Umbrella Excess Liability policies very expensive?
Answer: Not any more. It is decidedly cheaper to buy liability insurance in layers and competition is now forcing a number of domestic insurance companies to lower their price to the point where it is often cheaper to buy a very broad umbrella excess liability policy contract than it is to simply carry conservatively high limits under standard Comprehensive General Liability policies. Arranging the underlying insurance protection to your best advantage is something of an art, however, and should be entrusted to a professional who knows what should be done, where and when. In general, umbrella excess policies are now available economically to anyone.

Pavilion-like Norris Medical Library at the University of Southern California School of Medicine blends classical exterior with advanced library planning inside. The simple classical appearance advanced library planning inside is achieved by the soaring two-story colonnade. The effect is enhanced by the split-faced travertine marble of the vertical exterior panels, the natural concrete of the columns and the copper facing of the projecting roof. The three level facility, designed by Los Angeles architectural firm Albert C. Martin and Associates, will house 200,000 volumes by 1980.
