Now in its third year with over 980 persons having attended it, the Course is one of the outstanding achievements of the Association. Every section of the United States and Canada have had the opportunity to conduct this course and the goal of the Committee to have 1,000 Mason Contractors attend will be achieved at this second St. Louis Course.

MEETING FACTS:
Dates: September 26-27

Place: Executive International Inn

St. Louis, Missouri

MEETING SCHEDULE:
September 26th-9 A.M. to 4:30 Ρ.Μ.

September 27th-9 A.M. to Noon

This is a practical 1/2-day course showing how to set up the takeoff of quantities and their pricing. The presentation is designed to show the contractor how to use the information and knowledge that he has gained from his own experience and to provide him with additional tools to make his work more efficient and accurate.

The lecturer for the Course is Edward Le Jeune. He is a graduate civil engineer from the University of Notre Dame, Class of '35. For 15 years he worked mostly in the field as an engineer and supervisor. His experience has ranged from home building to industrial and institutional building and into heavy construction, such as oil refinery units. Since 49 he has been working in the Estimating Field for Contractors. In 1956 Mr. Le Jeune formed his own estimating firm, however, recently he has joined one of Chicago's leading General Contracting firms, the W. E. O'Neil Construction Company. The system of estimating developed by Mr. Le Jeune applies to all phases of construction-from residential to multi-story projects.
