President David Soloff

President David Soloff which creates a nation-wide promotion fund for the Masonry Industry. Selected as trustees for the fund were Donald Bidwell, Eugene George, David Soloff, and Charles Velardo. A complete report will be made to MCAA members about this significant undertaking.


In-Plant Agreement

A lengthy discussion was held on the development of an "In-Plant" Agreement and the Executive Board approved in principle a document which is now referred to legal counsel.


Nominating Committee

Selected to act as the Nominating Committee are: Robert Ebeling, James Lonie, Stephen Raimo, V. E. Emory, Mason Painter, Guy Apple and Robert Harrison.


Research Committee

The Research Committee announced that it was working on a Hi-Bond Mortar Clinic, which will be made available to all Chapters for presentation. With all business before it completed, the Board Adjourned at 1:45 P.M.


Canadian Masonry Contractors Association

The Canadian Masonry Contractors Association held their executive meetings concurrent with those of MCAA. Material handling and packaging were prime subjects of consideration along with organizational matters.


9-hole l'Esterel course

The 9-hole l'Esterel course was hilly, tricky and full of small black flies. Here Steve Raimo and Tony Zotollo, both of New York City, head for the seventh tee.


Closing Banquet

Closing out all the meetings was the Executive Board Banquet during which awards for the various activities were presented.
