The Canadian hospitality was wonderful. Eugene George and Paul Vallee did an excellent job. The many courtesies extended to the board members were greatly appreciated. All of us send our sincerest thanks. Our thanks also to Bob Rawlins and the Pittsburgh Corning Corp. for again presenting the Glass Block Trophy and hosting the members at a delightful lake-side cocktail party. Bob has left the ranks of bachelorhood. Congratulations from all on your recent marriage.

La peche a son meilleur dans les lacs poissonneux environnants-which in English means Fine fishing to be had in the many surrounding lakes. Proving that were Evelyn and Jim Lonie and Louise and Allen Young. In the early morning one could always look out over the lake and see them fishing away. One of the finest putters of the group was David Johnson who also celebrated his birthday at l'Esterel. In addition, birthdays were celebrated by Greg and Denise Hughes.

The indoor pool attracted many, but the most entertaining twosome was Frank Camisso and Peter Martini. Their swimming prowess was outstanding-especially Frank in his brilliant red and white striped tank suit... Our thanks also to Dick Tubesing who pitched in to help out with some of the details. At the pool table we think that Guy and Mary Apple were tops and Joanie Szabo was rated No. 1 in TV watching.. The D.O.B's held their annual meeting under the leadership of Bev Harrison. Winners of their awards were Ada Raimo and Betsy Szabo. Word from that group indicates that their annual meeting will henceforth be held to coincide with the golf tournament.

During the golf tournament Charles Velardo had one of those one-in-a-million shots. Teeing off from the high seventh tee his drive hit a fairway marker placed
