The establishment of a new corporate computer and communications center which will be operative in 1972 has been announced by David G. Stenberg, president, Huron Cement, Division of National Gypsum Company.
The new communications center will utilize a new, large computer replacing two smaller computers which are presently in use. It will be capable of running five to six programs simultaneously and will provide substantially increased capacity that can be readily expanded in planned increments to provide virtually unlimited capacity in the future.

A U. S. Labor Department study on union hiring halls in the construction industry has been published by the Labor-Management Services Administration.
The study examines the extent to which employers in the building and construction industry are required by their collective bargaining agreements to secure their labor solely and exclusively through unions, and the procedures whereby applicants are registered and referred to jobs.
Moratschek Heads ACI
The sixteenth president of Allied Construction Industries of Cincinnati is Frank G. Moratschek of David Hummel Building Co. Moratschek, who is immediate past-president of the Mason Contractors Association of Greater Cincinnati, was elected at ACI's annual meeting on March 23.
He becomes the second member of the Hummel firm to hold this position since the group's formation in 1929. The first to hold the office of president was G. Ellis Hummel, founder of David Hummel Building Co.
