The Cummins Foundation and community leaders are convinced that good architecture in Columbus improves tastes and standards. Their experiment has shown that in the long run quality architecture, materials and workmanship do not cost more, for they increase the quality, public appreciation and life of the buildings. Sir Winston Churchill believed this too, for he once said, "First we shape our buildings, then our buildings shape us."
Research and information by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Conner, architectural firms, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Cummins Engine Foundation in cooperation with the International Masonry Institute.
