Tuesday ranked as one of the busiest days of the convention. In addition to the Annual Meeting, there was a material handling demonstration staged in the parking lot of the Americana Hotel followed by a workshop session and three separate business meetings that ran concurrently in the morning. That evening the Annual Banquet was held in the Bal Masque Club of the Americana and featured outstanding entertainment that included a "Paris Scandale" review. A rousing success, the banquet was attended by approximately 875 persons.

Main speaker at the morning workshop was Charles Kothe, a leading labor law specialist, who spoke on "Safety in the Construction Industry." The speakers and their topics at the three other business sessions included Paul Rosensteel of the Arizona Masonry Guild who discussed "Testing of Masonry Mortars"; Anthony Zotollo, Co-chairman of the Masonry Industry Craft Board, who explained the workings and accomplishments of this group, and representatives of the Concrete Promotion Council of Florida who presented a program on "Concrete Masonry Highrise Construction."
