In several recent cases, the Treasury has imposed higher duties on products sold in the U.S. market at a price below home-market quotes. The anti-dumping regulations are being revised to make it still easier for U.S. companies to press their complaints.

Under the anti-dumping procedures, the Treasury must make a finding that the imported product is being sold at unfairly low prices. Then the Tariff Commission must decide that the domestic producers are being injured as a direct result.


EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION IS COMING UN-
DER CLOSER SCRUTINY from the Pay Board and the Internal Revenue Service. IRS agents assigned to monitor the control program have begun investigating hefty pay boosts given management personnel. The agents are particularly concerned about bonus incentive and stock-option plans, which are being used increasingly since controls began.

The awards were presented by Matthew J. Cerritelli of Cliffside, president of the Bergen County Masonry Council.

Special guests were David Soloff Jr., president of MCAA, and Joseph Thomas, executive director, Structural Clay Products Institute. Soloff spoke on "New Directions in Masonry."


Fuller Awarded 6 Major Contracts
The George A. Fuller Company, a subsidiary of Northrop Corporation, has been awarded six major construction contracts, it was announced by John Hessmer, vice president & general manager of the Chicago office. The contracts are as follows:

Baxter corporate headquarters for Travenol Laboratories, Inc., Deerfield, III. Six office buildings, a central cafeteria, services building and two parking structures.

Northwoods Shopping Center Mall, Peoria, III. It will have two levels and three courts with a total area of approximately 350,000 square feet. The mall is sponsored by the Development Control Corporation of Chicago.

J.C. Penney department store and auto center for the Lincoln Mall Shopping Center, Matteson, III. These buildings total 180,000 square feet.

Student housing project for the Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago. It includes a 20-story reinforced concrete structure with separate reinforced concrete parking facilities. The residence, containing 166 apartments, will have approximately 130,000 square feet of living space and services.

Two Carson, Pirie, Scott department stores, one for the Northwoods Shopping Center of approximately 132,000 square feet, and one for the Lincoln Mall Shopping Center of approximately 165,000 square feet.
