Memering Plaza Office Building
(Continued from page 27) plied the bond beam units for the sun screen as well as the split-face block for the fire wall.
Memering Plaza is an entirely climate-controlled building. Everything is automatic: sprinklers, lights, heat and air conditioning. The waiting room and reception area are divided by a glass wall to form the hallway to the interior offices. Hues of gold and brown have been used extensively with wood accents. A kitchenette, library, supply room, work room, rest rooms and a conference room complete the first floor law firm complex. The second floor, serviced by an elevator, is being developed into five offices.
Construction of the $417,000 (excluding land) Memering Plaza began in April, 1971 and was completed in January of last year. This building is the first phase of the total site development, which is proposed to include a sister building, parking structure and a six or eight story office building around a central plaza.
