The 1973 Guide presents estimated costs for 57 types of masonry walls-brick, block, tile, specials and composite. The cost figures are intended to give architects and engineers a convenient and accurate method of comparing one wall type with another.
In addition to estimated costs, the Guide lists U-factors and fire ratings for each of the 57 wall sections. Information on grout, reinforcing and insulation also is included.
For more information, call or write the Masonry Institute, 27600 Farmington Rd., Farmington, Mich. 48024, area code (313) 476-2495. The 1973 Guide supersedes the Institute's 1970 publication.
