Richardson To Direct Minn. Masonry Group
Thomas F. Richardson has been appointed executive director of the Minnesota Masonry Institute, according to Sid Mosman, president of the Minnesota Masonry Industry Promotion Fund, Board of Trustees. Richardson, formerly with Shiely Concrete Co. of St. Paul, was also a member of the board of directors of the Minnesota Concrete and Masonry Contractors Association.
Appointed to the board of trustees of the Minnesota Masonry Industry Promotion Fund were: Sid Mosman, president trustee, Minneapolis; Thomas McGough, vice president trustee, St. Paul; Michael Gresser, secretary-treasurer trustee, St. Paul; Peter Gilbert, trustee, St. Paul; R. A. Roberts, trustee, St. Paul; Dave Guggenberger, trustee, Minneapolis; James Sweitzer, trustee, St. Cloud and Keith Schwab, trustee, Winona.
Appointed as Union Advisory Representatives were: Local #1-Gordy Christensen, St. Paul and Al Wedig, St. Paul; Local #2-Gordy Nylin, Minneapolis and Gerald Pierce, Minneapolis; Local #8 George Heppelman, Rochester; Local #6-Harold Mattson, Sleepy Eye; Local #15-Donald Samuelson, Brainerd and Local #3-James Ross, Duluth.
"The Institute's goals," says Richardson are, "to increase work opportunities for bricklayers and stone masons while creating greater contract opportunities for contractors in unit masonry construction."
