Industry's First Network Television
Ad Campaign To Be Launched In April
The International Masonry Institute's growing program of promoting work opportunities for mason contractors and craftsmen and thus the entire Masonry Industry will encompass advertising on the NBC-TV Network in 1975. The announcement was made by IMI Chairman David B. Soloff, Jr. at the institute's headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Soloff pointed out that this will mark the first time that the North American Masonry Industry has advertised on network television. The IMI commericals will be heard on NBC-TV's NH. Stanley Cup Hockey Playoffs during April and May starting on April 13.
Appearing on such a highly-rated program, the messages will be seen and heard by millions, many of whom play important roles in determining what type building products will be used in their construction projects. Others will also be made more aware of the important role played by the Masonry Industry in providing energy-conserving, fire-safe structures.
Year 1975 will also see the start of an IMI full-page advertising campaign in Newsweek magazine beginning February 24. Like the TV campaign, it will broaden IMI's reach to thousands of additional decision-makers who may not yet have been exposed to IMI messages.
