7th Annual IMI Promotion Meeting

The International Masonry Institute (IMI), the masonry industry's promotional arm in the United States and Canada, held its seventh annual promotion meeting May 8-11 in the Drake Hotel, Chicago. Attending were local/ regional promotion group executive directors, mason contractor trustees of promotion groups as well as IMI advisors from the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen (BAC), and others with an interest in masonry promotion.

At the kick-off session on Monday, May 9, IMI chairman and trustee Charles F. Velardo and BAC president and IMI advisor Thomas F. Murphy gave the welcome address. They announced that 41 locals now have the new 2¢ an Text continues on page 22
