The North Hills Christian Reformed Church, Troy, Mich., was one of four recipients of 1976 "M Awards" for excellence in masonry design sponsored by the Masonry Institute of Michigan in cooperation with the Michigan Society of Architects. The North Hills church is of loadbearing masonry design utilizing the brick walls not only as a facade but to support the building as well. See story on page 15.
