Thomson Court, a home for the elderly in Markham, Ontario, was
an Award of Merit winner in the 1977 competition for outstanding
masonry design sponsored by the Ontario Mason's Relations
Council. Seven awards in all were presented in this 13th annual
judging by and for Canadian architects. Stories and pictures start
