The 1977 Fall series of International Masonry Institute (IMI) Regional Seminars for masonry promotion groups has been completed in San Francisco, Toronto, Washington, D.C. and Cincinnati. The meetings served to give rank-and-file MCAA members, BAC officials and staff of promotion groups in the United States and Canada an opportunity to discuss the policies and operations of IMI. In turn, the seminars gave the national officers and staff a close-up reading on local, regional, state and provincial concerns and recommendations regarding masonry promotion, and particularly IMI's 1978 advertising and educational programs. There are currently 84 local/regional masonry promotion groups working in close coordination with IMI throughout North America. The picture shows IMI Executive Director Neal English addressing the seminar in Toronto, Ont., Canada. IMI's 8th annual promotion meeting will be held May 7-10 in the Fairmont Hotel, New Orleans, La.
