John A. Heslip, executive director of the Masonry Institutes of Michigan and Northwestern Ohio, has been re-elected to his third two-year term as chairman of ASTM Committee C-12 on Masonry Mortars.
William J. Billings, formerly architectural representative for Superlite Builders Supply, Phoenix, Ariz., has been appointed industry consultant with the Masonry Institute of Oregon.
Jeffrey D. Crane has been named president of Crane Construction Co., Inc., Northbrook, Ill. He succeeds his father, Morton J. Crane, who remains chairman.
Congratulations to Earl S. Child, who recently received the 1979 Outstanding Mason Contractor Award from AGC. Child heads up Earl S. Child Masonry in Springville, Utah.
Dale Kirchner, president of Kirchner Industries, Bridgeton, Mo., has been elected to a two-year term on the Executive Committee of the National Concrete Masonry Association.
Mike Siebert has joined the sales organization of Bend Industries/South, Menomonee Falls, Wis. Bend manufactures masonry and concrete products in eastern Wisconsin.
