The masonry industry has made a long-term commitment to support the Foundation with operating funds and seed money for research projects. The funds are being provided by the eight organizations represented on the Research Foundation Board: Brick Institute of America: International Masonry Institute; International Bricklayers Union; Laborers Union: Mason Contractors Association of America: National Concrete Masonry Association; National Lime Association, and Portland Cement Association.

Koehring Earnings Up
A 38% first-quarter gain in net earnings and 21% higher shipments compared with the like quarter a year ago have been reported by Koehring Co., Milwaukee, Wis. Net earnings were $2,901,000 for the fiscal quarter ended February 29, 1980, compared with $2,098,000 in the comparable 1979 quarter. Net shipments for the 1980 first quarter were $114.592,000 versus $95,006,000 in 1979.
