Masonry Research Advisory Council Meets
The recently created Masonry Research Advisory Council held its second meeting at the Tides Inn, Irving- ton, Va., November 15-18, to consider 38 research proposals submitted to it for consideration. Of the 38 submissions 34 were direct, with four being unsolicited. The requests were developed by the Masonry Research Foundation after identification of priority research areas by the 27-man Advisory Council.

The work of the Council will now be submitted to the Research Foundation board for evaluation and study for funding commitments. The board was scheduled to meet during the month of December, 1980.

Foundation chairman John T. Joyce called the sessions to order and reviewed the process through which the proposals were received and were to be acted upon. Advisory Council chairman Bill Sangster discussed the review process and appointed Task Groups to cover the presentations. Monday, November 17, was devoted to Task Group considerations. Reports by the various committee chairmen were reviewed on Tuesday.
