Pavers Guide Las Vegas Shoppers

Shoppers strolling down the 40-ft.-wide promenade of the new $74 million Fashion Show Mall in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip have an eye-catching guide to lead them to the many different luxury shops. A graphic design of parallel lines formed by Federal Flashed Ironspot Pavers manufactured by Huntington/Pacific, Inc., Corona, Calif., directs the shoppers down the 900-ft. length of the promenade and into the mall with arrow-shaped rows branching off into each shop entrance.

In all, nearly 160,000 of the brick pavers were used as separating strips between concrete and in tiers and raised planters. The product was selected because of its extraordinary hardness under heavy foot traffic and striking beauty from a natural blend of reddish earthtone colors flashed to add burnt spots. Federal Flashed Ironspot Pavers used in the mall measure 7%" x 36" x 14". The richly textured brick are formulated with high-fired, consistent quality Alberhill clays.
