Did you know that the Great Wall of China was built over 2,000 years ago, stretched for 1,400 miles, and contained 3,873,000,000 brick?
Fit as a fiddle
The young reporter was interviewing a man who had reached his 99th birthday. The reporter said, "I hope I can come back next year and see you celebrate your 100th birthday." The old-timer replied, "Can't see why not, young feller. You look healthy enough to me."
Getting a handle on things
I've seen boys on my baseball team go into slumps and never come out of them, and I've seen others snap right out and come back better than ever. I guess more players lick themselves than are ever licked by an opposing team. The first thing any man has to know is how to handle himself. Connie Mack.
First things first
A large subdivider and developer was told by his superintendent that when the first model house was sold and the scaffolding removed, the whole house collapsed. "How many times must I tell you," screamed the boss, "don't take away the scaffolding until the wallpaper is up!"
