The last order of business for the '82 MCAA Conference the MCAA Annual Meeting-took place on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., with President Helbert presiding.
The first part of the meeting was devoted to hearing reports from Association officers and committee chairmen. Afterward, following a recommendation by the MCAA Executive Board, the membership voted to amend the Constitution & Bylaws to extend the terms of elected Association officials from one to two years, effective with the current year.
In the annual election of officers, the membership accepted the slate proposed by the MCAA Nominating Committee and voted in four new officers and five regional vice presidents.
Elected president for the 1982-84 term was Donald O. Leonard of St. Ann, Mo. Elected to serve with him were W. C. Dentinger, Jr., Brookfield, Wis., vice president: Gerald Dufour, Germantown, Wis., secretary, and C. DeWitt Brown, Dallas, Texas, treasurer.
The newly elected regional vice presidents are:
• Ivey Griffin. Griffin. Jr., Morganton, N.C., Region B (Alabama, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee).
Robert C. Tubesing. Brookfield. Wis., Region D (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin).
G. W. Veazey, Jr., Houston, Texas, Region F (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas).
Jack J. Bailey, Westminster, Colo., Region G (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming).
Robert H. Hatch, South El Monte, Calif., Region H (California, Hawaii, Nevada).
Reelected to two-year terms as regional vice presidents:
• Anthony Zotollo, Great Neck, N.Y., Region A (Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania).

That evening, at 6:30 p.m., the MCAA Reception was held in the Cypress Ballroom lounges of the Hyatt Orlando Convention Center, preceding MCAA's 32nd Annual Banquet and Dance in the Cypress Ballroom.
MCAA, its officers and members gratefully acknowledge the thoughtful and generous gesture of the Brick Institute of America and the National Concrete Masonry Association, who sponsored and acted as hosts at the Reception.
The gala banquet, which featured entertainment by vocalist Jeanne Steele with the Bob Glendon Orchestra, was attended by more than 500 members, their wives and special guests. Acting as toastmaster for the evening was MCAA executive vice president George A. Miller, who also assisted Louis Helbert in the installation of newly elected officers. The banquet officially closed the formal activities associated with MCAA's 32nd International Masonry Conference and Educational Trade Show.
