Workshop Slated on
Masonry Restoration
Restore, the organization devoted to masonry maintenance and restoration, will hold a five-day Intensive Workshop January 6-10, 1986 at Trinity Church in Boston, Mass.
The program is designed to teach state-of-the-art architectural restoration skills and preservation technology to craftsmen, contractors, architects, engineers and others in the building trades.
The Boston workshop will offer five days of instruction through lectures, laboratory demonstrations and field/workshop sessions. The curriculum will provide basic information about the chemical and physical properties of masonry materials, the processes which cause their deterioration, cleaning procedures, and repair and replacement techniques.

National Riverside Names
Bolton Sales Director
The National Riverside division of Scheu Products Co., Upland, Calif., has named John Bolton to the post of director of sales & marketing. He will direct all sales and marketing activities related to National Riverside's Universal line of portable propane heaters and Scheu's Hard Hat oil-fired salamander heaters.
Bolton formerly was sales & marketing vice president for Divajex Co.

Presents Design Awards
The Memphis firm of Gassner Nathan & Partners, Architects Planners, Inc. won two awards for its designs in brick and block in the 1985 "Excellence In Masonry Design Awards" competition sponsored by the Masonry Institute of Tennessee.
The first award was for the Cherryhill luxury condominium development; the second was for the Naval Air Station Applied Instruction Building.
The Chattanooga firm of Derthick, Henley & Wilkerson, Architects won the third award for the restoration of 55-year-old One Central Plaza.
