Pour in the Profits
Many chimneys today are too large and may be battered by time and the elements. But Ahrens unique two-liner process can restore and protect any chimney. The first liner strengthens and insulates as Ahrens mix is poured over a correctly sized bell which has been lowered into the chimney. The mix is vibrated into place, into each tiny crack and crevice, and lines the chimney while the bell is raised. After the first liner has cured, the second liner is poured over a foam-rubber applicator which is then lowered down the chimney. The second, ceramic-like liner seals and protects and prevents deterioration. This process is available only from the professionals at Ahrens Chimney Techniques. You can specialize in the Ahrens process in your area. No experience is needed because Ahrens provides complete training and dealer support programs.

Budding Mason Contractor
Editor:
My name is Jessie Fenn. I'm in the fifth grade. I think when I grow up I would like to work with cement. I hope you can send me some information.

Elyria, Ohio
Dear Jessie: It was really nice hearing from you and of your interest in the masonry industry. We hope you will continue to maintain that interest into your working life and become a member of the time-honored craft of bricklaying and stone work. Our industry sorely needs talented young men to carry on the masonry skills that have been developed over many centuries. It is a very promising and rewarding career.
I have enclosed a copy of Masonry magazine and other material which we hope will be of interest to you. Our next issue will carry a lot of information about masonry construction, and I'll be sure to send you a copy of that, too.
We certainly enjoyed your letter and wish you every success for the future.-Ed.
Mexico Earthquake
Editor:
Received the copies of Masonry (March/April, 1986) and congratulate you on an excellent issue. Thought it was very good coverage of your Conference in Florida, along with pictures of the new officers.
The second part of the article on the Mexico City earthquake certainly looks good. I think IMI activities covering the earthquake paid for itself many times over. I give numerous talks all over the area on the Mexico City earthquake and plan on continuing showing the excellent performance of masonry in Mexico City.

Expo CIHAC '86
Editor:
We are glad to invite you and the members of your association to show your products or services in the 3rd International Building & Housing Exhibition, Expo CIHAC '86, to be held in Mexico City on October 13-19, 1986. This exhibition is being organized to promote investments, joint ventures and sales of products, equipment and technology for building and housing.
The show is sponsored by this Center, which is a non-profit association by the leading organizations of private enterprises in Mexico, and by all the industrial chambers and manufacturers' associations related to construction. It is also integrated by the most important Mexican banks, by contractor companies and home builders, as well as manufacturers and distributors of construction materials and equipment. It is in Mexico the same as the U.S. National Association of Home Builders.
Expo CIHAC '86 will be attended by over 100,000 people from Mexico, Central and South America, and the United States. Exhibitors will come from several countries. One of them could be you and your associates. The U.S. Department of Commerce in Mexico will represent several U.S. companies; therefore, it will be a way to be present as exhibitor. In such a case, let us know your decision in order to contact you with the U.S. Trade Center in Mexico.
Hoping to hear from you soon, we send you our best regards.

Editor:
It is our company's intention to organize a display of publications (both specialized and not) concerning the stone industry and associated industries (manufacturers of machinery, accessories, handling and transport equipment, etc.). This display would be on show at the International Marble and Machine Fair, organized annually by our company at Marina di Carrara.
We should be most grateful if you would fill in the form enclosed and return it to us as soon as possible so that we can obtain a precise and overall picture of all the single magazines which, directly or indirectly, include marble within their scope of arguments.
We intend to organize the first display of material gathered at the forthcoming 7th International Marble and Machine Fair in Carrara, May 28-June 2, 1986. Whilst this will certainly provide an opportunity for magazines to
