The group plans to meet again on June 26, 1987 in Cincinnati, Ohio to further its work.

On Monday evening the members enjoyed an evening of relaxation by attending a St. Patrick's Day party in the Chantilly Ballroom of the Anatole Hotel. Photos of the party are included in this story.

On Tuesday morning the members had an opportunity to hear from the material producing segment of the industry, with Nelson Cooney, President of BIA, John Heslip, President of NCMA, and George Barney, a Divisional Director, Engineering Services Division of PCA, being the featured speakers. Each of the individuals gave a brief history of the growth of their industry and reviewed some of the current programs under way by their organization. George Barney indicated there were major changes under way at PCA, with major emphasis now being on long term promotional efforts. The last speaker of the morning was Harold Moore, General Manager of the North Texas Contractors Association. Mr. Moore discussed briefly the arbitration procedure and indicated that in most cases this method had three advantages; it was private, expedient and cheaper. He discussed briefly the doctrine "employment at will" and punctuated his presentation with many humorous incidents that have occurred to him during his years as an arbitrator.

On Tuesday afternoon, President Brown called the MCAA Annual Meeting to order at 1:30 P.M. in the Monet Ballroom of the Anatole. Following the roll call and filing of reports by the officers, Regional Vice Presidents and Committee Chairmen, the chair recognized Vice President Hatch, who asked that the order of business be suspended. He reported that a Committee of the Executive Board had met to review the concern that had arisen with respect to the adoption, in February of 1986, of Article XXIV of the MCAA By-Laws. After considerable discussion by the membership it reaffirmed our Preamble, and adopted the following resolutions:

Our thanks to Ken Gutschick, National Lime Association, for his excellent color photography. The ribbon cutting and the group shot of President Brown and the Past Presidents are outstanding. We are deeply grateful to him for supplying them. Ken, you do a fantastic job!
