ORCO Block Expands
Due to rapid growth in the past two years, ORCO Block Co., Inc. is expanding its corporate offices, announced Rick Muth, president of the Stanton, Calif.-based manufacturer of concrete masonry products.
ORCO's expansion involves a 1,500-square-foot addition and remodeling of the existing offices. The project is expected to be completed in February 1990.
Since mid-1988 ORCO has implemented an aggressive expansion program. The purchase of two competitor's plants doubled the company's manufacturing facilities and increased the number of employees from 130 to 225. These facilities also expanded ORCO's market area to include all of Southern California-from Los Angeles east to the Arizona line and south to the Mexico border.
Founded in 1946, Stanton Calif.-based ORCO Block Co., Inc. is one of the nation's top 12 concrete block manufacturers and the number one seller of concrete block in Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. The company produces more than 500 standard items and manufactures custom block products for specific uses.
