Citation Awards

Recognition to the International Excellence in Masonry Design Awards sponsored by the Mason Contractors Association of America. Top clay masonry, stone and cement masonry projects were included in one nationally recognized competition, where applicable.

A distinguished jury of one or more mason contractors and five practicing architects licensed in California and knowledgeable on the use of masonry reviewed the entries. Jurors considered the overall design and use of brick, concrete block and/or natural stone. Their focus was on the aesthetic and technical design achievements and craftsmanship, and each entry was considered on its own merits. The jury was allowed to grant as many awards as the submissions justified.
