SHARP was designed to help reduce overall workplace injuries and illnesses by encouraging employers to correct safety hazards; to develop, implement and improve effective safety and health programs; and to become more self-motivated and self-regulating in the management of occupational safety and health. Upon receiving SHARP recognition, worksites are exempt from OSHA programmed inspections for one year.

FOUNDATION for Windows® Wins Prestigious Technology Award
FOUNDATION for Windows construction accounting software has won the Constructech Technology Enabler Award for outstanding innovation in a software product.

The award was presented at the 2005 Vision Awards, which honor pioneering companies that utilize leading-edge technology in an inventive fashion. Sponsored by Constructech magazine, the 6th annual Vision Awards ceremony was held at Phil Stefani's 437 Rush restaurant in Chicago on Aug. 24. Foundation Software received the award as the software supplier for Lighthouse Electric, a two-time winner of the prestigious Silver Vision Award in the subcontractor category. Lighthouse earned its second Vision Award for an innovative labor management plan that promises to save over $100,000 in labor costs each year. By using the features of FOUNDATION, as well as those from Congistics ControlBoard™, a tracking and scheduling application, Lighthouse was able to create a separate function for the management of manpower.
