# E.L. Harris and Son's Sallie Harris Dies

Sallie Wilson Harris of E.L. Harris and Son Inc. Charleston, W.V., passed away in late-2007. Ms. Harris and her husband, Evan, were married in 1935 and resided most their lives in Charleston, later moving to Stuart, Fla. Mr. Harris passed away in 1992. The couple was part of the founding members of the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA). Mr. Harris was the first VP of the MCAA, and the contributions their family has made to the industry are great. Ms. Harris will be remembered for her quick wit, selflessness, humility and love of family. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice Care of the Low Country, c/o Foundation for Hospice Care, P.O. # Dow Corning Corp. Re- Validates Liquid Sealant

Dow Corning recently submitted 795 Silicone Building Sealant for re-validation to the Sealant, Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWR Institute) Liquid Sealants Validation Program. The product passed when tested using third-party verification to certify that the product not only consistently meets the design specifications, but also performs to industry standards.

# Gehl Co., Milwaukee Brewers Strengthen Partnership

Gehl Co. has loaned a new Gehl 6640E skid-steer loader to the Milwaukee Brewers to assist with snow removal and general maintenance at Miller Park. The skid loader has a fully enclosed cab with heating and defrosting, and the Gehl PowerView lift arm. Attachments include a 74-inch bucket and a 72-inch, hydraulic-powered angle broom for cleaning sidewalks and parking lots. IMAS

# Patrick Engineering Appoints Three VPs

Patrick Engineering Inc. has appointed three VPs, Chris J. Burger, Paul M. Lopez and Chris Dietzler. Burger has been with Patrick Engineering for 16 years. During that time, he helped position the company as recognized experts in landfill siting, environmental clean up projects and the siting of coal gasification projects with CO2 sequestration.

Paul Lopez has been with Patrick Engineering for 10 years. He is managing the company's transportation division and is instrumental in the design of both highway and rail projects.

Chris Dietzler has been with the company for six years. He has designed and managed various projects in the transmission and distribution area and is currently leading Patrick's distribution and design-build teams serving the electric utility industry.
