MVMA Announces Winners of Design Awards
The Masonry Veneer Manufacturers Association (MVMA) announced the winners of the second-annual MVMA Design Awards, a program created to recognize the work of industry professionals who are setting trends by featuring manufactured stone veneer in their projects.

In June, three judges from the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD), including Executive Director Steve Mickey, served as the judges for the 2011 MVMA Design Awards Contest. The judging took place at the Clarion Anaheim Resort Hotel in Anaheim, Calif., during the MVMA's annual meeting. The judges selected 27 winners (gold, silver and bronze) out of the total of 57 entries.

The gold winners for each category are as follows:
