MCAA's Convention at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry is only a few days away! Make sure you register now for the industry's premier event to gather the resources and information you need to stay competitive! Make it a priority to attend and be part of the action!

Some of the highlights of this year's Convention include:

Opening Session

The MCAA is proud to present Alan Thicke as the keynote speaker of the Opening Session Lunch. Audiences will most likely remember Alan Thicke best for portraying psychiatrist and father Jason Seaver on ABC's Growing Pains. Thicke's distinctive charm and humor have established him as one of America's all-purpose entertainers, playing the main Las Vegas showrooms of the Hilton, Desert Inn and Sands, as well as Atlantic City's Resorts International, numerous cruise ships, and corporate events.

Contractor Appreciation Party

The MCAA would like to invite all mason contractors to join together for our second annual Mason Contractor Appreciation Party sponsored by industry suppliers! All mason contractors attending the World of Concrete are invited to join us for a night of food, drinks, and fun at the Venetian Hotel. You'll have an opportunity to win one of several door prizes that will be given away throughout the night including casino chips, cash, education seminar vouchers, industry equipment and more!

Fastest Trowel Competition

The Fastest Trowel on the Block Competition is a showcase of industry craftsmanship and a testament of both the speed and skill of our industry's workforce. The competition will pit 20 journeyman masons against one another. Only those journeymen masons who have the skill, confidence and courage to face-off with the industry's best are invited to compete.

Closing Reception

Oh What a Night it will be when the 2009 MCAA Convention wraps-up with a memorable evening. Before attendees say Bye Bye Baby to Las Vegas, they'll enjoy dinner followed by an evening with the Jersey Boys! Jersey Boys takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Follow four blue-collar kids working their way from the streets of Newark to the heights of stardom.

Visit convention.masoncontractors.org for more information on these events and to register now! Make your plans to join us at this year's MCAA Convention at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry. We'll see you in a few days in Las Vegas!
